Propell’s parent company, New England Wood Pellet (NEWP), is a pioneer in pellet manufacturing and has been producing pellets continuously since 1992. NEWP is the largest manufacturer of pellets in the Northeastern United States, producing close to 150,000 tons each year between two plant locations, and importing an additional 75,000 tons per year at a third facility.

While the majority of our existing pellet production supplies the residential pellet stove market, the company currently serves over 50 bulk customers who use central boiler systems. Our commercial pellet distribution fleet includes a 10-ton truck and a 25-ton trailer.

With over 70 current employees, we have strong in-house engineering and operating capabilities to ensure the success of the Propell enterprise.
